October 26, 2016 | Aging Action Initiative and its member organizations took part in the 31st annual Marin County Senior Information Fair at the county civic center exhibition hall. Each year over 100 exhibitors showcase a variety of community resources and services that cater to the North Bay’s 55+ population.

Nearly 20% of the exhibitors were AAI members

The Association of Bay Area Governments estimates that by year 2035, 48% of Marin County’s residents will be over the age of 60. Because the maturing population continues to grow and maintain an active lifestyle, so does the enormous potential and popularity of this annual senior event.

Up to 5,000 people are estimated to have attended the event held at the Marin Exhibit Hall in San Rafael
